Carta en la que Francisco Cruz se disculpa ante Almafuerte por no haber respondido antes por problemas de salud y le comenta que no recibió las anécdotas que Palacios dijo que le había mandado. Luego le pide que empiece a remitirle los datos que necesita Roldán para empezar a escribir la biografía o prólogo. Por último, le informa que recibió el folleto de Santiago del Estero que le envió Antilano Fernández con sus contestaciones publicadas en él y lo felicita por su discurso casarista.
